As a small Los Angeles-based studio of landscape designers and builders, RAD Landscape delivers projects across a wide range of scales — from intimate courtyards and private gardens to expansive estates and public environments. SITE ANALYSIS
Understanding the Site
Every project begins with a careful reading of the site. Topography, drainage, solar exposure, wind patterns, and existing vegetation all influence how a landscape should be designed and built.
We also study how the house meets the land — how light moves across the property, where views open and close, and how outdoor spaces can connect naturally with the architecture.
Early evaluation of grading, drainage, and local requirements allows the design to move forward with clarity around constraints, budgets, and timelines.
